A safe place to belong and grow
Small, warm homes for children and young people who need extra support. Every young person who comes to us matters — and we make sure they know it.
Every child deserves a home
We run small residential homes for children and young people aged 6–16. We keep things small so everyone gets the attention they deserve — not just a bed, but a real home.
Whether you're a young person, a parent, or a professional — we're glad you're here.

Work that matters
We're looking for warm, dedicated people who care about making a real difference to children's lives. Small teams, real relationships, proper support.
For young people and families
If your child is moving into one of our homes, or you just want to know what life here is like — please get in touch. We'll answer any questions, arrange a visit, or just have a chat. Reach us at info@rootshealth.care
Places where young people feel at home
Small, caring homes in England and Wales. Each one is built around the young people who live there.

Ayla House is a home for one young person at a time. No group living — just a calm, settled space where they can build real trust with a small, consistent team.

Codiad Y Blaidd — Welsh for "Wolf's Rise" — is our four-bed home in Swansea. A warm, welcoming place for young people with a focus on community, connection, and confidence.
For young people and families

Support that fits around you
No one-size-fits-all. Every young person gets a plan built around their needs, goals, and life.
Our values & mission
Why we do this, and the things we won't compromise on.
Six things that guide everything
Children come first
Every decision starts with: what's best for this young person?
Relationships are everything
Children heal through safe, trusted relationships. Small teams, consistent people.
Be honest
We're straight with young people, families, and professionals.
Believe in everyone
We hold high hopes for every young person — warmly, patiently.
Keep getting better
We learn from what works and what doesn't. We listen.
Everyone belongs
Everyone deserves to feel safe, valued, and like they belong.
"Every young person who comes to us deserves a place where they're known, valued, and genuinely supported to grow."
Small homes, done properly
The name Roots is intentional. We want every young person to develop roots — belonging, safety, stability — from which they can grow.
We stay small because small is better. We won't grow faster than we can do things properly.
